Internet marketing multi-millionaire Russell Brunson's birthday was yesterday, and since he obviously doesn't need anyone to buy him presents, he's arranged for YOU to be able to download a TON of presents instead. (The event runs for a few weeks -- so you haven't missed it!)

I found out about it Friday when he started rounding up internet marketers to contribute gifts to his big giveaway. Several hundred marketers (including myself) signed up and added our gifts. As of a few minutes ago, 5114 people had joined the giveaway and started downloading as many as 807 gifts!

The gifts include all sorts of scripts, eBooks, blog templates, graphics, and a whole lot more.

If you've got a mailing list and would like to get some new subscribers, from what I can tell, it's not too late to join the giveaway and add your gift. Here's how it works:

1. Join the Giveaway here

2. Add something of yours to the list of things being given away.

3. There's a place to list your squeeze page URL. Enter the address of your mailing list signup page there.

4. Make sure your mailing list is set up to give people your free gift when they sign up.

The giveaway will probably draw several hundred thousand visitors -- any who want your gift will have to join your mailing list to get it! I've already got several hundred new subscribers on my lists from the event.

If you don't already have a mailing list but have been considering getting started with one, this may be the right time to go for it. You can get a list with AWeber, which is probably the most widely and highly recommended mailing list service.
