Once upon a time, a moose decided to get into internet marketing. He was concerned about starting off on the right hoof, so he headed over to the Worrier Forum to find out which guru everyone recommended following.

King Luigi, an orangutan, had just launched a blogger coaching program named "The Jungle Blog" that was getting rave reviews. The moose signed up.

After the first session, he was fired up and ready to charge. Luigi's training had been excellent. He used the exercises he'd been taught to come up with ideas to blog about, and quickly cranked out a list of 8 posts to write. It was even easier than he'd expected!

So then, he sat down to type up his first blog post. Ah, the dream was in sight.

By the time he clicked "publish" 6 hours later, he was exhausted. Little things like typing URLs and search terms were no big deal for the moose. But his over sized hoofs made typing painfully slow. Blogging 5 times a week no longer seemed so exciting.

But the moose was no quitter. That week, he published his first 5 posts and dialed in for his second coaching session with great anticipation.

King Luigi answered the phone and asked the moose how his first week had gone. "Your system for coming up with ideas to blog about was fantastic, but writing the posts takes me a long time," replied the moose. "I'm no quitter, but this isn't quite as easy as I'd hoped."

"Well," said Luigi, "nobody who's followed through with my system has ever failed to earn $3,000 a month by the end of the coaching."

With that assurance, the moose pressed forward.

The next few weeks were about like the first. Luigi taught great ideas, the moose applied them, and they worked well. But when it came time to post, the typing took forever.

The Saturday after the fourth week, the moose took a much need break from work and went camping. Up in the mountains, he saw a herd of humans hiking. He took a few pictures, and then inspiration struck. Watching the humans had given him an idea for a blog post that would surely go viral.

But the moose was near the top of a mountain, hours away from his computer, and with nothing to write on. Fearing that he might forget some key piece of information before getting off the mountain, he set his camera on a rock and recorded a video of himself talking through the idea.

When he got home, exhausted from the hike, he sat down at the computer to type. The initial inspiration had worn off a bit, and was replaced largely by the dread of typing.

As he watched the video he'd shot on the mountain, another flash of inspiration hit him.

He uploaded the video to MooTube, embedded it in a short blog post, and went to bed early.

The moose spent Sunday relaxing -- not even turning his computer on. When he booted it up on Monday, to his surprise and joy, he found 37 comments on his latest blog post!

After that, the moose continued King Luigi's Jungle Blog course, but he never wrote a full length blog post again. Instead he applied Luigi's excellent ideas to video blogging, and was soon making $3,000 a month.
