Split Testing
Whatever you do to improve conversion, it's critical to test your results. You should use a split testing system to run multiple versions of your sales materials at the same time to ensure that differences between them aren't based on outside factors. There are cases where you'll know without testing whether a particular change will help sales, but in many cases, you'll be surprised at your test results.
When split testing, be sure not to jump to conclusions based on too little data. The initial results of any test may be randomly skewed in favor of an option that won't continue to perform well over time. Many times, I've seen a test initially favor one option, only to conclusively show another option to be better after the test has run longer.
Use a tool like our free split test analyzer to check whether your test results are statistically significant before ending a test.
