Software products include:
- Desktop programs that run on the customer's computer
- Website scripts, including templates and plugins for other website scripts
- Other things like fonts, images, etc.
One of the disadvantages of selling programs vs. many other types of products is that you'll need to provide technical support. Be prepared to either spend the time supporting customers yourself, or better yet, to hire and train someone else to take care of it for you.
