A few days ago, I read on Rosalind Gardner’s blog that you can get Camtasia Studio version 3.1.2 for free, and once you’ve downloaded it, you can upgrade to the current version for half price. If you’ve been wanting Camtasia but couldn’t afford it, here’s your chance.

To get the free version:

1. Click here to download the executable file
2. Click here to register and get a software key
3. Install and launch the program and enter your software key.

Version 3.1.2 may be all you’ll need, but if you want all the features of the latest version, you’ll be able to upgrade for half price (saving $150).
